Oblates Lenten Retreat

Lenten Oblates’ Retreat.   Date: Saturday, March 06. Time: 9:00M – 5:30PM
For Oblates and those interested in a day of reflection. March 6, 2010 starting at 9AM and conclude at 5:30 after evening prayer with the monks.  It will directed by Fr. Joseph Mary, O.S.B. Mass will be celebrated at 11:00. Confessions will be heard at 10:30. We will start Price of $30 includes lunch and snacks. For reservations please call the Abbey at 804-784-3508 ext 157 or ext 158. Reservations will be accepted until February 26th

Vocation Discernment Retreat:  Date: Thursday, April 01 – Monday, April 05, 2010

Men between age of 18 – 45 discerning a vocation to religious life are invited to spend Holy Week in the monastery to experience the life of a monk. During the retreat, vocation guests join the monks at prayer, work, meals, and recreation. Several conferences are conducted to introduce candidates to the Monastic way of life as lived at Mary Mother of the Church Abbey.
